Muscles Recover BEST with This FRUIT!

When muscles are fatigued it has been long known that an increased level of "free radical" oxygen (these are byproducts of waste / fatigue which damage cells) are viewed in the muscles, which interfere with their quick recovery (and your ability to perform at your best).

Researchers from the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research, exposed developing skeletal muscle fibers (myotubes) to various concentrations of fruit extracts, along with two compounds that induce cellular stress (which mimic what happens when you train).

The team found Blueberry extract to protect the muscle fibers best.

I've long pronounced the power of blueberries in delivering anti-oxidants, procyanadins and even age "slowing" resveratrol.  It has so many supportive nutrients.  And now this new study adds to the list of fascinating contributions by this fruit by enhancing muscular recovery and peak performance.
